STAR ALLIED HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANY BIG TIME FRAUDS


I R.RAJESH KUMAR HOLDING A FAMILY HEALTH OPTIMA INSURANCE POLICY FROM STAR HEALTH AND ALLIED INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED.I WAS REGULARLY PAYING MY HEALTH INSURANCE FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS DATED ON 19.07.2011.THE DUE DATE USED TO BE ON 18 JULY OF EVERY YEAR.THIS YEAR THE DUE DATE WAS ON 18TH JULY 2014 WHICH THE AGENT DIDN’T INFORMED ME A MONTH BACK FOR THE RENEWAL OF THE SAME BUT INFORMED A DAY BEFORE THE DUE DATE SINCE I WAS OUT OF TOWN I LITERALLY ASKED HIM IS IT OK TO PAY BEFORE THE GRACE PERIOD IE OF 30DAYS AS PER IRDA. THE AGENT NAME MR JAYKUMAR STILL WORKING IN BRANCH OFFICE TRIVANDRUM SAID ITS OK AND SAID THERE WONT BE ANY PROBLEM IF THE CLAIM ARISE. UNFORTUNATELY I GOT HOSPITALIZED ON 28TH EVENING JULY 2014 AT 5 PM IN THE EVENING. I CALLED UP MY AGENT AND TOLD THAT I WAS HOSPITALIZED HE SAID DONT WORRY I WILL REGISTER YOUR HOSPITALISATION ON THE DESIRED TOLL FREE NUMBER 18004252255 BUT MAKE SURE YOU PAY THE PREMIUM ON 29TH JULY 2014 MORNING WITHOUT ANY FAIL WHICH I DID. THAT DAY ITSELF I CLAIMED FOR CASHLESS FACILITY WITH THE HOSPITAL AND IT GOT REJECTED. THEY SAID YOU CHECK WITH YOUR AGENT FOR THE SAME. I CALLED MR JAYKUMAR THE AGENT AND TOLD WHAT HAS HAPPENED HE SAID DONT WORRY WE CAN REIMBURSE THE HOSPITAL BILLS ONCE YOU GET DISCHARGED. I GOT DISCHARGED ON 04TH AUGUST 2014. AS THE AGENT SAID I HAVE SEND ALL THE BILLS, SCAN REPORTS TO HIM. HE SAID THE SAME WAS SUBMITTED AND TOLD ME YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR 15 DAYS. ON 20TH AUGUST 2014 HE CALLED UP IN THE MORNING AND SAID YOUR CLAIM WAS REJECTED DUE TO THE PREMIUM NOT PAID BEFORE DUE DATE WHICH I ASKED HIM YOU TOLD ME THERE WAS NO PROBLEM IF THE CLAIM COMES WHICH HE WAS INSISTED TO ADMIT THAT HE AGREED BEFORE. I WAS SO WORRIED AND MENTAL PEACE WAS DISTURBED. I CALLED UP THE COMPANY AND ASKED SIR ALL THIS THREE YEAR I WAS PAYING MY PREMIUMS BEFORE TIME AND THIS YEAR DUE TO SOME PROBLEM I COULDN’T PAY ON TIME. I ASKED HIM SIR IF I AM NOT ABLE TO USE YOUR CLAIMS THEN YOU REIMBURSE ME THE PREMIUMS WHICH I PAID ALL THESE YEARS AND THE ANSWER WAS SORRY SIR YOU WILL NOT GET A SINGLE PENNY BACK EVEN IF YOU DONT GET ANY CLAIMS. I ASKED HIM STRAIGHT AWAY WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH THIS PREMIUM AMOUNT WHICH I PAID TO A SUM OF 30,272 TILL 28TH JULY 2015. SORRY SIR WE WILL NOT PAY BACK THIS PREMIUM AMOUNT WHICH WILL STAY BACK WITH THE COMPANY AND YOU CANT REVIVE IT. THAT MEANS LIKE ME THERE WILL BE SO MANY VICTIMS PREMIUM AMOUNTS STUCK UP WITH THESE INSURANCE COMPANIES WHICH THEY DONT HAVE THE COURTESY TO PAY BACK EVEN IF THEY SAY NO CASH BACK POLICY. WHAT EVER MONEY WE PAY SAY FOR EXAMPLE ELECTRICITY, TELEPHONE, WATER ,TAX ETC WE PAY FOR THE SERVICES WE USED. THEN WHY ONLY FOR INSURANCE COMPANY WITH OUT AWAILING ANY FACILITIES WE PAY UP FRONT PREMIUM FOR ASSUMING THAT WE GET HOSPITALIZED ONE DAY. SINCE MOST OF US DONT AVAIL THE FACILITIES
AND SOMETIMES DUE TO FINANCIAL CRISES MOST OF US WONT BE ABLE TO PAY PREMIUM WHICH THE INSURANCE COMPANIES TAKE ADVANTAGE OF NOT PAYING ATLEAST A MINIMUM AMOUT BACK TO THEIR CUSTOMERS ON ANY DEDUCTION WHOSE POLICES ARE LAPSED.WHAT DOES THE INSURANCE COMPANY DO WITH THIS LAPSE PREMIUM AMOUNTS?
I HUMBLY REQUEST THE HONARABLE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA, GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND MY FELLOW BEINGS TO LOOK INTO THIS INJUSTICE AND TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION.

ALL INSURANCES ARE COMPLEX TO UNDERSTAND, ALWAYS WRITTEN IN THE COMPANIES FAVOUR, JUST SEARCH FOR HEALTH INSURANCE FRAUD OR INSURANCE FRAUD AND YOU WILL SEE ENOUGH POSTS TO KEEP YOU BUSY FOR ONE WEEK STRAIGHT. BEST PRACTICES ARE TO KEEP ONESELF HEALTHY, HAVE A STRONG FAMILY BOND SO THAT EACH OTHER CAN HELP AT TIME OF NEED, ENJOY LIFE WHEN YOU HEALTHY AND NOT WORRYING ABOUT WHEN YOU WILL FALL ILL.

  2. As u pay your Mobile bill, Electricity bill on time to avoid disconnection. You should adhere to pay premium at least fortnight before due date. Your savings will be eroded. 
    My friend was an insurance agent he did not renew his term plan (life Insurance Policy).  He died and the loss was suffered by his family members(survivors).

I totally agree with you Mr rajesh kumar. your reply to Mr Bheemsen kulkarni was infact practical. we all are human being, what if the same situation happens to that fellow i.e Mr jayakumar. this whole world is getting selfish and cruel.. humanity is fading down..i felt bad for you.. m also in the same town and i have the same policy..actually its not about the policy,, its about the people working there, the company, whose maing motive is just profit. some day these cruel people will face what they deserve..

  7. Did you approach the consumer court the very first channel for a grieved customer in India, well they keep advertising that anybody aggrieved must approach them with their jaago grahak jaago jingle, then later lets take it the honorable PM

Mr. Rajesh Kumar there are many technical flaws in your case so you cannot raise any legal litigation towards company because after buying policy you are in bond with them and in ur case you have breached the contract buy not paying primum on due date and after you hospilized you paid primum so my brother ur raised question that what company do with laps ammont that they pay salarys to staff agents commissions settling claims of there consumers who are with them it may find rude to you but it was all ur fault not company or agent u should be aware of ur due primums and star health has always been my side as i paid always on time
