The Jamaica Automobile Association (JAA) will rev up its vehicle care mandate at its 2017 Auto Clinic, to be staged on Saturday, July 29, at its 7 Central Avenue headquarters in Swallowfield, Kingston.

The Auto Clinics is part of the association emphasizing the importance of maintenance to ensure drivability.

Members of the association JAA will be able to access complimentary services during the clinic, which will include vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and preliminary valuations, among others.

Duane Ellis, general manager of the JAA, says the Auto Clinic, which is one of the regular activities on the organisation’s membership calendar over the years, “will provide an opportunity for motorists to receive services and information about how to better care for  vehicles and maintain their roadworthiness.”

“A hallmark of our auto clinic is our complimentary inspections and diagnostics, which provides drivers with an overview of the health of their motor vehicles; and advice as to how they can remedy defects,” Mr Ellis explained.

The Auto Clinic will be a “one-stop shop” for all things related to motor vehicle and, according to Ellis, “We want to educate motorists about different aspects of vehicle care; and provide opportunities for them to engage with several service providers who will assist in identifying appropriate solutions.”

Patrons will also be able to access information about the JN Auto Loan product being offered by JN Bank and learn more about how they can qualify in order to purchase their own motor car.

One such service will be preliminary collision damage consultations, to provide information to owners about damage to their vehicles.

The clinic commences at 9:00 am and will be open until 5:00 pm. It will also include services courtesy of several of the JAA’s Show Your Card and Save discount merchants.

“In addition, we will have representatives from JN General Insurance Company Limited (JNGI), who will provide guidance about motor vehicle insurance,” Mr Ellis noted, adding that “motorists will also be able to access motor care products and services.”

The Auto Clinic is an opportunity for non-members to access services offered by the JAA, including its Driving Academy, chauffeur services, and fleet management; as well as membership packages, which include Roadside Assistance.
