From the Allstate Foundation: 17 Allstate agency owners and financial specialists from the Albany area recently came together to secure a $17,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region. The grant will support the nonprofit organization’s mission to provide a place for families to stay and home-cooked meals while their children are treated at nearby hospitals.
The agency owners and/or financial specialists each earned $1,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region by teaming up to help clean, paint, prepare dinner and other tasks in support of the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Albany. Ronald McDonald House Charities will use the $17,000 grant to further its work in the community.
The participating Allstate agency owners and financial specialists are among thousands of agency owners and financial specialists around the country working to strengthen communities by volunteering their time to support the causes they care about most.
